Konami's Pachinko/Pachi-Slot Company Files 'Big Boss' Trademark

KPE, the pachinko and pachi-slot machine game maker in the Konami Group, filed a trademark for "Big Boss" in the field of games on September 9.
Big Boss is a character from the Metal Gear Solid franchise. Konami UK Community Manager Graham Day stated last month that the Metal Gear Solid franchise will continue without series creator Hideo Kojima, who was rumored to be leaving the company after completing Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
Konami has yet to announced a new pachinko or pachi-slot machine game in the Metal Gear Solid franchise.
