Voice Actresses Natsumi Takamori & Marie Miyake Marry — in Final Fantasy XIV

posted on by Carlos Cadorniga

Two notable female voice actresses have just announced their marriage! Albeit in the world of an MMO.

Natsumi Takamori (The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders) and Marie Miyake (Seraph of the End, The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls) recently announced they tied the knot in Final Fantasy XIV via their respective player characters.

The two have participated in a special in-game event known as the "Ceremony of Eternal Bonding," where two characters can profess their devotion to each other through a mock marriage ceremony. Players that participate in the event receive special items such as rings and character costumes that they can use during the event. The ceremony took place on November 22.

Both voice actresses have tweeted about the ceremony. Above, Takamori states: November 22 is a day of love! I'm happy to announce that Marie Miyake-san and I have been married through the Eternal Bond in FF! We'll be so happy together!"

November 22 is a homonym in Japanese for "ii fuufu" or "good couple."

Miyake stated her announcement as well. "Me and Takamori, both warriors of light, were allowed to participate in the Eternal Bond!"

Through a subsequent Twitter exchange, the two joked about married life together and how they can help each other in the main quests.
