Compile Heart, Idea Factory, IFI Reveal Black Rose Valkyrie PS4 Game

Compile Heart, Idea Factory, and Idea Factory International announced on Tuesday that they are developing a new PlayStation 4 game titled Black Rose Valkyrie (Kuro Bara Valkyrie). The project is part of the new brand titled IDEA FACTORY INTERNATIONAL, and the game marks the first time Idea Factory's California-based overseas representative Idea Factory International has been part of a game's production. The official website streamed a promotional video on Tuesday.
The video reveals that the project will reunite Tales RPG series veterans Kousuke Fujishima (Ah My Goddess, Sakura Wars) and Takumi Miyajima (Fate/Zero). Fujishima will design the game's characters, while Miyajima will write the game's scenario. Some of the text contained in the video include: "a worldwide pandemic that started with a single meteorite," "the virus that is eating away at humanity," "a personality different from day, that reveals itself as insanity at night," "a different traitor with every playthrough," "Valkyrie (double-edged sword)," and "The mystery (Black Box) of the Valkyrie System."
The IDEA FACTORY INTERNATIONAL brand launched a teaser site for the game on January 26.
Compile Heart, Idea Factory, and Idea Factory International are all subsidiaries of the Idea Factory Group. Idea Factory International was founded in September 2014 as the overseas representative of Idea Factory. The company has released several Compile Heart games such as Monster Monpiece and Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1.
