Joshiraku Creators Launch Nankuru Nee-san Manga

The third issue of Kodansha's Young Magazine the Third magazine launched a new manga by Joshiraku creators Kōji Kumeta (story) and Yasu (art) on Friday. The new manga is titled Nan kuru Nee-san (pictured at right with image of girl holding flowers).
The manga follows Issa Kinishi, a young man who worries and concerns himself too much over many different things, and spends his life being harmless and inoffensive. One day he meets a beautiful, tanned enigmatic young woman. This young woman uses a smartphone with a cracked screen, goes into restaurants without caring about their online ratings, and makes curry without caring about the stains she gets on her clothes. She weighs on Issa's mind so much that he accidentally starts stalking her.
The manga's title comes from the phrase "nankurunai," which means "don't worry be happy." Nee-san means older sister.
Yasu illustrated Yuyuko Takemiya's Toradora! romantic comedy light novel series, and also provided the original character designs for Kagari Tamaoka's Mangirl! manga. Toradora! and Mangirl! received television anime adaptations in 2008 and 2013, respectively.
Kumeta ended his Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei manga in May 2012. Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei inspired three TV anime series and several OVAs. Kumeta also launched the Kakushigoto manga in December after publishing a preview in November.
The duo's Joshiraku comedy manga also received a television anime adaptation in 2012.
