Cardcaptor Sakura's 3rd Ending Theme Inspires SD Figures

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

Anime News Network's merchandise coverage sponsored by Tokyo Otaku Mode.

The third ending theme to CLAMP and Madhouse's Cardcaptor Sakura anime series is inspiring three super-deformed figures. The song "Fruits Candy" shows Sakura, Kero, and Tomoyo making sweets together. The three figures recapture that with a tiny 5cm-high Sakura holding a fancy cake, Tomoyo holding a box of chocolates, and Kero looking ready to eat next to a giant chocolate heart.

All three figures come with a chocolate heart-shaped stand. MOVIC is accepting reservations for the set for 2,500 yen (US$22). The figures will ship in May.

The Cardcaptor Sakura manga's 20th anniversary has seen new merchandise and figures since last year. CLAMP is also releasing a "best of" artbook for the series on March 24. The series' first 46 episodes will also reair on NHK BS Premium beginning on April 6.
