Sailor Moon Gets 4th Round of Candy Compacts

The Sailor Moon candy compacts gashapon continue to be popular. Bandai has released three variations so far, covering all of Sailor Moon's compacts, Chibi Moon's compacts, the Silver Crystal, the Starry Music Box, and Luna-P. The latest round of the "Minaturely Tablet" line are special color versions of the Crystal Star compact to represent each of the original five Sailor Guardians. The theme is meant to invoke the communication watches the five Guardians wear to alert one another of an emergency.
The compacts can be purchased in a set of five with peach mint-flavored candy. Premium Bandai is currently accepting pre-orders for 3,456 yen (US$30). A pre-sale will be held in Roppongi on April 16 but only while supplies last. Bandai will ship orders in May.
