Ace Attorney 6 Game's New Prosecutor Nayuta Sadmadhi Revealed

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
3DS game set in both Kurain & Japan, with Apollo Justice as protagonist of Japan story

The official website for CAPCOM's Gyakuten Saiban 6 (Ace Attorney 6) Nintendo 3DS game revealed a new character for the game named Nayuta Sadmadhi (not official romanization).

He is described as a public prosecutor of the Kurain Kingdom, and also an international prosecutor with the authority to participate in cases worldwide. He is a devout priest who believes that trials are rituals to mourn the souls of the departed, and that bringing judgement to the sinner will save the victim's soul.

The site also confirms that the "Mood Matrix" system from the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies game will return in Ace Attorney 6. The game will also feature two protagonists: Phoenix Wright (Ryūichi Naruhodo) and Apollo Justice (Hōsuke Ōdoroki). While Phoenix's story will be set in the Kurain Kingdom, Apollo's story is set in Japan.

The game's theme is a "courtroom revolution." The game is set in a country called the Kurain Kingdom, a "country of mystery and faith." The game contains a "Courtroom of Resignation" where defendants are only told to give up, as the Kurain code of law decrees that the court needs no lawyers.

Previously revealed characters include:

The Lawyer of Justice: Ryuichi Naruhodo (Phoenix Wright)
"I believe in my client's innocence. That's why I'll keep believing, and bring the truth to light. That's just how it is."
He gets wrapped up in a case while he's enjoying the sights in a foreign country, and finds himself in an unfamiliar courtroom. Although he is in an unfamiliar law system, his sense of justice and his belief in his client's innocence allows him to uncover the truth.

Phoenix's Client: Apprentice Priest Bokuto Tsuaani (The name is a pun on "Boku to tour ni," meaning "a tour with me")
"Sightseeing, is it? Just leave it to me!
Bokuto is a lively boy who is learning to be a priest. He makes a living as a tour guide on the side. He loves to explain his country to tourists, and doesn't stop once he starts talking about it. He serves as a tour guide to Phoenix.

The game is slated to ship in Japan this year. Ace Attorney 6 is also in development for the West.

The Ace Attorney games are getting a television anime adaptation that will premiere on April 2.
