I went from "mildly interested" after the original announcement to "extremely excited" about this after that PV. It looks absolutely gorgeous and the little animated bits looked fantastic. Already can't wait for this

Looks like I was right about "Yuri" being a Russian guy's name in this case. I had considered the possibility of "Yūri" also being a Japanese guy's name, but it looks like they have both bases covered here. Either way, looks like a great project with Yamamoto's direction and Hiramatsu's designs. Plus, there's finally a series I can recommend to my mother
Oh, and I believe the Russian names are supposed to be Yuri Plisetsky and Viktor Nikiforov. They could still go with weirder romanizations, but those are the most realistic variants. |

Wow I thought someone would have made the obvious joke for sure here, but since I don't see it... I'll actually keep it that way.
I recall seeing a music video of this during the animator expo awhile back and yeah this trailer is so breath taking I want to see it on just those merits alone. looking forward to it! |
