Okay, what did the last episode do to get that rating? I've never watched beyond season one of Sailor Moon, so I don't know. The reason had better not involve spoilers, though!

spoiler[Naked Sailor Moon]...which is funny because there was a SuperS episode that had spoiler[Mercury nude for a bit] and Hulu had no problem with that one.

I think an MA rating is a bit much,spoiler[ I mean, I know she's nude for almost the entire episode, but she's about as anatomically correct as a barbie doll,] so I really didn't see much of an issue with it. But if they think that's best, then I...guess?

Huh. As far as I knew no nips could guarantee you a TV-14.
In fact, there's an episode of Kiddy Grade with clear nipples that is a TV-PG dubbed and TV-14 subtitled on Hulu. |

I'm guessing the difference is the sheer number of minutes that goes on for in that episode of Sailor Moon. Also, Sailor Moon is likely to get 1000x more viewers than Kiddy Grade so (1) they might actually be paying attention and (2) they might be trying to cover themselves with a more extreme rating in case of complaints. |

The previous episode was also TV-MA, not just the last one. Both of the last two were.
Naked Usagi was in the preview at the end, that's probably why. The other thing both episodes had in common was blood. There was bloodshed with visible blood in both episodes. |

 And Sailor Senshi barbie girl nudity (and Haruka giving us that 3 second ass!) isn't new at all.

That's ridiculous. It's probably the most undetailed nudity in the series, and the animators really tried their best not to show her lower regions at all costs. Not like it matters, because she's a got a flippin' Barbie doll crotch.
Italy originally had a problem with this episode, and almost didn't air it. Which is finally since they didn't censor any of the other nudity in the series. Korea, and Israel digitally edited the nudity. I think every other country aired it uncensored, even Indonesia which is really unexpected. |

I remember that in my country the episode was aired without anything problematic. The only "controversial" thing during ETC's. (Chilean channel) current Rerun was the lesbian thingy between HaruChiru (Or whenever you call the ship), but finally it aired with no complications later.

The funny thing was that episode 199 was actually marked as TV-PG, but blocked to under-18s and had a disclaimer. |
