Yeah, I can't believe I am using the word "heartwarming" to describe this show by the time I finish episode 2...

Very worthwhile viewing experience indeed

I knew I'd like the show but I like it even more than I expected to so far.

Now, when do we get to meet those idols from the ED?

I'll admit, I'm enjoying this show a lot more than I thought I would. I went in halfway expecting to be creeped out, but ended up pleasantly surprised. Chihiro in particular is such a humble, down-to-earth, hardworking character that he's easy to root for.

Granted, the show still has the potential to get squicky pretty quickly, so I'm going to proceed with cautious optimism. Smile

I was honestly expecting the worst (in the same season as Super Lovers, with the usual connotation of maid outfits, can you blame me?) But I'm pleasantly surprised.

With all the action shows I'm watching this season, I'm 100% down for a weekly dose of heartwarming sugar. I'm getting Fruits Basket vibes and that's not a bad thing.

You know, leave it to Yusuke Yamamoto to take this premise and spin it into something worth watching. The guy not only has a bonafied masterpiece under hist belt (Welcome to the NHK,) but he managed to make a rare anime sex comedy that's actually good (B Gata H Kei) and one of the few "cute girls do a cute club thing" shows that I didn't hate (Yama no Susume.)

I think I'll have to pick this one up... on top of the five other shows I'm following. This season has been dynamite so far.

This show is very much "what if Hayate the Combat Butler was just Hayate the Butler, without the OVER 9000 or the tiger." And it totally works.

Like Twin Star Exorcists, this is largely a collection of familiar archetypes and tropes wrapped up in a pretty new package - and for the most part, it works. In less capable hands, it would have been thoroughly skippable, but as it stands, I'm eagerly awaiting next week's episode.

Yeah, count me in with those who didn't think they'd like it but do. I'm not too crazy about the Shoujo Maid Apprentice character, but his great school friends will hopefully offset her presence.

I think calling his mother Mommy Dearest is a bit harsh though. That's a moniker I strongly associate with child abuse (and Joan Crawford), and I saw no such relationship between mother and child in this.

I would argue that credit goes to the orginal author(Ototachibana).

Man, everything about this show just feel so sweet! I love it! Feels like a cross between Usagi Drop and Ouran, and I can dig that. Personally, I was pleasantly surprised at how his spoiler[classmates] reacted to the reveal; much more supportive than I expected.

With quite a few shotacon-targeted stuff coming up, it's actually nice to have something pleasantly cute without being gross. But, I'm still deciding whether to get to it?

I really liked what I've seen so far. This show is a good example of taking an old premise and making it fresh. I feel like the character interactions help in this regard.

When I saw the first episode, the vibe I got was closer to that of the relationship between Yang Wenli and Julian Mintz in Ginga Eiyū Densetsu. I also like Shimazaki Nobunaga's performance as the uncle; he has some fluffiness in his performance.
