I just love the new armor. It actually looks like armor instead of a costume bought at a discount cosplay store.

Wouldn't it be better for Lionsgate to wait until the first Power Rangers movie is successful at the box office first before claiming sequels? Don't count the eggs just yet.

That would be nice.

Unless they already have a planned film PR/Kamen Rider crossover equivalent of the Avengers.

To quote Tommy Wiseau,"don't plan too much, it may not come out right".

Well thankfully all their attempts at a Kamen Rider adaption have failed so I doubt Saban would make a movie out of it. You would probably sooner see a crossover with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

I definitely think they're in over their heads if they think they can make 7 movies. They really should wait and see if this one even does well first before making that kind of promise. I already have my doubts on how well this first one is gonna do. -___-;

If we are talking a period of around 2 decades? sure, I could see even a decently received Power Rangers western film franchise work out (compare to say other ongoing films franchises Tranformers)
However, if they are expressing something a "little more ambitious" like 7 films in 1 decade, HAVE FUN with that guys.

Isn't that the way movies are these days? It seems like a lot of them would work better as TV shows rather than movies considering how often they try to tell some kind of serialized story across a bunch of movies and break movies into part1s and part2s in some cases.

Just focus on this 1st movie, because they are getting way over their head. If it's good, then okay, but if it's bad....then say goodbye to the Power Rangers live action movies. And i actually hope this movie is going to be good. Smile

That is what I said in regards to the plan for multiple Avatar sequels. The allure of multiple related movies each making tons of money seems to have made many studios lose track of the fact that plans fall apart pretty fast if the first entry fails.

And that without getting into the point Hollywood is not very tolerant toward failure compared with other film industries around the world.

And yet it took three fantastic four movies for Fox to effectively
go "oh shit what we do now?" Razz
