Just like with the Charlotte announcement Yes!!! Thank you so much AoA! This was another very highly anticipated title from AoA titles and can't wait to watch it! It had a much higher chance at a dub then Charlotte but I was still afraid it would get the sub only treatment. AoA has been on a role! My wish list is to now get All the Charlotte LE's, Asterisk Wars and Erased LE's day one! Thanks so much AoA!

The LE in particular for this series looks really nice! A soundtrack AND a booklet among other things! Really hope it'll get a chipboard artbox but I'm not getting my hopes up, at least it's confirmed to not be releases in singles so even if its like the YLiA LE that's a great setup Anime smile

Just like with Charlotte the dub trailer sounds good too! The wait to finally watch this series once its released on bluray will be a painful one Anime cry

I am honestly surprised this title is getting dubbed, but I am glad for its fans.

Erik Kimerer and Kira Buckland as the leads? It's Accel World all over again! The rest of the cast looks solid, though I'd actually have to hear them outside of the trailer, and given that this is an Aniplex series...

Glad not seeing another complaints about the set of pricing again, much like with the Charlotte one. If this country isn't overrun by bootlegs, the fact that dollar is too expensive in value with comparison to ringgit malaysia and I don't even have savings nor a job (still studying), I would had target sets like these since ever.

This looks like the next Aniplex to come to Toonami in the fall or winter

This show doesnt seem dark though, from what I've seen toonami goes for darker shows. Il be fine either way if its on netflix or toonami though so it doesnt really bother me lol.

I'm actually a bit surprised. Asterisk War is okay for what it is, but not the most popular thing around. I'm surprised AoA is taking distribution on when sales might not be as high as some of their other series. Given that Funimation has streaming rights I thought they would end up with the physical distribution.

Funimation only has secondary streaming rights since all the episodes they get are a week behind crunchyroll.

Im glad to see that AoA is offering both LE and standard editions. Still not sure if im getting this series but it does stand a chance of being added to my but list.

Kinda sounded a little like the voices for the Conception 2 game, which interestingly does not at all sound like a surprise considering this series.

While i am glad to see this being released with both sub and dub. i just get tired of AoA being so overly priced. i mean 90.00 for a LE version, this is just basic greed, i spent 50.00 for a limited edition for the Love Live series and i think that was more popular then this. They did the same thing for The Irregulars at Magic High School, but in 3 sets. i love this series, but it is once again out of my price range,

I'm no longer that bothered by Aniplex's prices anymore. It's become the norm nowadays and whatever helps stimulate the market for anime.

That plus it'll probably be on Netflix in a few months, so who gives a shit?

Finally! An English version of The Asterisk War, just what I've been waiting for. Smile Cast looks great; can't wait to watch the show!

I wouldn't recommend waiting for it. Or watching it for that matter. You'll only be disappointed.
