We don't know. It hasn't been announced as either, merely that "more Fafner" is coming out and its called "Right of Left" -t |

Well since the series kind of ended the whole plot I would assume it would be some kind of OVA. If it really is a whole other story it will be interesting to see what it is. I'm happy with either though.

I would assume it would be a continuation of the story. Afterall (Spoilers from end of series)spoiler[Soushi did leave to view things from a Festum perspective. A renewed storyline of perspectives and aceptance would not be out of the question. Also, the human race is still on a low birthrate I think; they need to deal with that too.]

I think it's an OVA, but I'm pretty sure it's before the series, the text in the image on the site http://www.production-ig.co.jp/xebec/contents/fafnir/fafnir18/fafnir18.htm
says something like "a story that happened roughly 1 year~half a year before the first episode of the main series" and it's about Soushi and Kuramae Karin who did appear in the seires and lived for about one episode. |
