I watched all of When They Cry a few years back it is worth watching as it is a legitimately good mystery but once the ultimate mystery is figured out it is not worth much of a re-watch for me so it's re-watch value is nil.

2 Sub-Only releases from Funimation? I know they are probably low key titles, hell ones a continuation of an obscure 70s show that didn't make it state side. But aren't they the publisher that gets nearly all their shows dubbed on home release. I know this has happened in the past, but never 2 titles in a row.

With Rin-Ne, I know Sentai do a lot of sub-only release. But Rumiko Takahashi has done well in the west and 2 of her previews works, Ranma 1/2 and Inyuyashi, were incredibly popular.

Good Shepherd was one of the least-watched, lowest-profile releases of its season - I frankly wasn't sure it was going to get a release at all.

Having watched the show, though, I have to say I find that sunshine and rainbows cover art hilarious. It's not as misleading as the infamous Narutaru box art or something like that, but for a harem series that has lots of fanservice and an actually fairly serious story, it sure wouldn't give a blind buyer much of a clue what they're really getting.

for me it's the oposite, once the mistery was unveiled it was really fun to go back and watch things knowing what they really meant, the 1st arc in particular is a ridespoiler[as everything has to be taken at face value]

this is only way to legally watch When They Cry: Kai in the West, so if you want to see the conclusion to the series, this is the only way to do it

Be right back, contacting Siren Visual and telling them their 2012 release of Higurashi no Naku Koroni Kai is illegal.

I'm highly disappointed that Rin-Ne and Yatterman Night are subbed only. :|

When They Cry: Kai Blu Ray for me has a lot of frame rate drop shutter. (Frame rate drop shutter is the best way I can descript it) I return one copy and even brought another copy. All three were the same so I guess I have to live with it. The online anime does not has the frame rate drop shutter. For me I love this anime. The story had me guessing and laughing. I also start the manga. I see there was a When they cry exhibit at the Tokyo Towers. I wish I could of have been there.

There seems to be an issue and one or two forums have posted about it. Seems to be pronounced on ep 10 & 16. Supposedly Sentai responded and said its in the Japanese masters, but some people have chimed in and think there was error done on Sentai's side. So you are not alone experiencing these issues.

You can see some of the comments here.
