I've been hoping this would be made into an anime for a while. I can't wait for more news on it! Very Happy

It made no sense to me why they hadn't made one yet. My guess is maybe because there have been other plots like it and they didn't want to jump into animating it so soon.

This is a little off-topic but wouldn't it be awesome if they made anime based on the works of Edgar Allan Poe? I would love to see his "Black Cat" in anime form.

from what I heard there was an earlier offer to make Black Cat into an anime but the mangaka wanted the series to be finished first so the anime wouldn't run off ahead of the manga storyline like what happened with some series (like Kenshin).

If that's true, then Kentaro Yabuki is very very smart. Though it's sometimes neat to see where the anime versions take a manga story, it's also very cool to see the actual story animated through to the end.

And damn, I just finally went to the website and the anime style pic on there is COOL. Now I want to go and finish the manga. Anime cry

yeah, I know what you mean... I wanna read it all the way to the end too... which is why I've stooped to reading the Manga Heaven scanlations, as they're farther ahead of Akatsuki and CTG even if their quality is worse. but still... I've read all the scanlations out there and I'm still only on volume 15 Crying or Very sad
