So this was the big news? Well, im glad that its not the near end of the manga, but was hoping for maybe something more.

Lol @ the people who thought the manga was close to ending.
There's still at least 3 more sub-arcs to get through at least before it's about done, and even then it'll take over a year. |

I love Fairy Tail so i really wish i could visit this art exhibit.
Im very happy that Fairy Tail is extremely popular in Japan and gets plenty of different cool stuff made for it. And the series still got a couple important things that needs to get finished before its over that i dont think will get done in this war arc so there will probably be more arcs after this. It seems to me like the only reason why people thought this announcement Was going to be about the end of the series is because other mangas are ending soon like Bleach, Toriko and Nisekoi for example. |

That's pretty cool, I'm not a fan of FT but I enjoyed some of it so I might go to the exhibition on September.

The manga was out for just over three years when the anime started airing. For a little perspective, the first episode premiered right after everyone in the Oracion Seis was defeated in the manga (chapter 155). |
