Somehow, I don't think that the word "soothing" should ever be used with an alarm clock that makes the kind of sound those do...

Kalessin, it may be soothing to those that have hearing problems.
 Mr. Oshawott, what better way to start one's day than hearing something they spent almost $60 on.
