Funimation is having an amazing year and so many great upcoming releases! Love Funi <3 Really excited for SHIMONETA as I've been dying to finally see it forever and the wait is almost up! Excited for Hetalia S6 too! Though I hope they released a LE w/ bandana like they did with every other release as I have the LE's for seasons 1-5 and the movie and would be a shame if season 6 wont match. Sentai revealed a Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions S2 bluray Collectors edition to match the S1 CE and Viz announced HxH bluray sets coming this fall, Great Otakon so far!

That Shimoneta cast is pretty much spot on. Monica Rial and Jamie Marchi are perfectly cast. Honestly I figured Jad Saxton would be Otome but Brittany Karbowski is great too. I've heard Mikaela Krantz in FT and Riddle Story of Devil, but I only remember Beth's southern twang from FT and her character in RSD didn't leave much of an impression on me so I'm looking forward to hearing her as Hyoka. Also slightly surprised that Sabat is the narrator and not Goriki but I know David Wald will do a good job. Now all I need is for Jamie Marchi to be announced the writer and all my dreams for that show will have come true.
Never watched Overlord, but I heard decent things about it so I'll give it a watch. I also bought the LN so I gotta give that a read one of these days. Already pre-ordered DxD, will pre-order Death Parade (even though I'm upset it's coming out so late), and I might pre-order Geass as well. I'll also most likely double dip for Summer Wars as well if only to get the extras. Still debating on Ergo Proxy, I bought the DVD set they released for their "classics" line a couple of years back when my local FYE closed but I never finished it. May just get the blu-ray and finish because from I remember the show was technically impressive. I wonder why they licensed old shows like Omamori Himari and Good Luck! Ninomiya-Kun though. Maybe they were packaged with another license or something. From the looks of it I'm betting those will be sub-only releases. |

So they got Taliesin Jaffe to replace Scott Freeman as Britain. I don't know his voice all that well yet, but I'm sure it'll fit perfectly in The World Twinkle.

Overlord's cast has an impressive mix of less-used VAs and the other casts look pretty solid. I'm very interested in hearing these dubs.

they had a poll several years ago with about 20-25 shows listed and they asked people to vote on what they wanted licensed. these two were on that list |

I really hope and pray that their taking so long with Death Parade was because they tried to get the Death Billiards OVA to include in the set. That would be amazing if they got it!
Also, I'm really hyped for Akito the Exiled, and excited that they plan to release all 5 films together. I hope they release the dub cast list by the time their Code Geass sets come out in October. -Marc. |

Just knowing a little about the characters and looking at the designs, I agree.
You should hear her in Black Butler: Book of Circus, I think it's easily her best work yet. |

The Haruhi release, slated for September, isn't in that list, though. Which is rather weird.
There was a fun tease for the Shimoneta dub in Twitter (FUNI answered my tweet and then everything exploded) a few days ago, so I'm happy to see there's going to be a dub for it. I always thought a dub would benefit this show a lot, so here's hoping it's a good (and very dirty and uncensored) one. Also happy to see Shirayuki and Death Parade are going to be released soon! I know it's absolutely unlikely, but it would nice if they put both seasons of Shirayuki on one box set. These two shows, along with the Haruhi release, are the ones that I realty want. |

One thing I will give credit to Funi is that although some of their anime boxsets are sub-only, it is nowhere near as vast as those from Sentai.

I'm eager to get those live-action Kenshin movies, but I'm going to pass on watching a dub of a live-action movie in 2016. Just doesn't work well.

OMG!
Where can I preorder Overlord, Prison School and Omamori Himari? Also, wtf Funi? Why are you sitting on Crest/Banner of the Stars? I hope after this long wait you will also release the last 2 episodes too (Banner of the Stars III) which the Bandai release is lacking. |
