Origins III was the most riveting anime I've seen in a long time. Can't wait for Ep.4.

How many episodes is this supposed to be? Is it about six or seven like Unicorn or is it more?

They seem to be splitting it up into arcs so my guess is that it might cover the entirety of the manga it's based on, which means more episodes than Unicorn, though that also, sadly, means it'll be running for a few more years yet with only two episodes a year.

I really wish I could own it, but those blu-ray prices are absolutely insane. Not only is it an import, it's also a collector's edition, so it costs $100 for each episode. That's just outrageous.

As a pure character study, it was on a par with any Gundam work I have seen. Watching Char's serpentine schemes unfold was a effortlessly watchable theatrical delight, even in spite of the fact that nearly every on-screen character is an antagonist in some way.

At the moment I would guess at least six episodes. So far each volume of the manga has been covered with 2 episodes. Episodes 1-2 cover vol. 5, episodes 3-4 cover vol.6, and I'm assuming the Battle of Loum arc (vol. 7) will also have two episodes.

After that its up in the air what Sunrise will do with the rest of the Origin series. If they do decide to animate the rest of the series I highly doubt they will do two OVA episodes a year (one vol. per year) since that would take 9 years to complete.

I believe it is only suppose to be 4 movies. On MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM THE ORIGIN IV Eve of Destiny Trailer the narrator said "The chronicle of Char & Sayla finally concludes" at the end of the trailer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rywie75yJE4

That's the current story arc. The new "Loum Arc" starts next year.

The excitement builds!

Question is where will it go next? Will there be more movies redoing the old television series or actual tv series doing origins?
