It still annoys me to this day that the Dub for GX was never finished as I really enjoyed the cast, especially Jaden's VA.

Only took 9 years for S4 to be released outside of Japan. Fortunate for me, spoiler[I got tired of the bullshit back then and changed sides.]

Neither was 5D's.

I highly doubt it'll ever happen.

GX was my favorite amongst all the Yu-Gi-Ohs. Very Happy

But it, along with the seasons of Yu-Gi-Oh, could use redubs. So much shit was edited out and wanted to see them.

i agree, with Konami and 4K Media it's more than likely that they will just continue to release what they have already because you know Konami, they wont put any money into anything now-a-days

unless it's a pachinko machine of course

it's a shame because i would love to see it finished or a uncut version done but it will never happen while Konami controls the series

honestly i think we should feel lucky that we are getting official subs for YGO at all. that is something you would never get for a series like pokemon.

Already happened back in '04.

People say they'll buy the subbed suits and that never happened. Funi's release of the uncut release only got three sets, out of the planned 9 from what I remember.

Weren't those just sold as single discs though? Back then there wasn't much interest/nostalgia, and I myself didn't like how they were selling them like that. I think this was even before full seasons/cour sets took off, as well.

I enjoyed season 4 a lot.

It was darker and more serious.

I haven't watched any dubbed YGO since season 3 of GX.

The Japanese with English subs is so much better for 5D's, Zexal and Arc-V.

Seeing as GX and 5D's wasn't completely dubbed I don't see this happening.

hate to say it but your right about that. unfortunately it still doesnt change the fact that konami and 4k media is still using the old "americanized" formula for the series (which is to be expected since 4k media is just the remnants of 4kids) which gets the approval of parental advocates and kid friendly groups but is despises by the entire otaku community. and with the strangle hold konami have on the TCG franchise, afraid there aint gonna be any professional dub at all. and pokemon is in the same if not worse boat since PUSA and nintendo will never let any of the original elements of the anime series into the US which in turn give rise to illegal fansubs.

regardless there are better TCG based anime that are better than YGO at this point though the only TCG based anime that is highly watchable and highly recommended is WIXOSS which is a lot better than GX , 5D , Zexal, and Arc-V combined.

First 5D's Ark Cradle got officially subbed, and now season 4 of GX. Even though I've seen both of them before, it's quite exciting (and surreal) to see them get the official treatment at long last.

I'd love subbed DVDs or a redub, but so long as we at least get legal subs, I can't complaint too much.

Al Kahn himself admitted those sets sold fine. The problem was a legal issue popped up with Yugi's Japanese VA, which resulted in them being put on "indefinite hiatus".

At least we are finally getting the last season for GX legally though they definitely should have dubbed and the rest of 5D's.
