Borma looks like he has anime eyes surgery.
Saito looks like Kano from Mortal Kombat. Batou looks like he's from WWE. Motoko looks pretty good. Aramaki looks accurate. Togusa looks too old and like those Japanese yakuza. Ishikawa looks okay I guess. |

Can't really judge them that much since the pictures are in such low quality,that first picture though
I'll wait for official pictures are a trailer before really judging them.

Well, it's a very diverse cast. It may have a chance.
But yeah, the resolution of these pics are bad. Borma does look funny, although if you look closely, you can see the metal parts of the implants. |

Togusa has usually been depicted as the greenest if not the youngest member of Section 9, which allowed him to function either as a point of view character or an excuse for exposition. The older look makes me wonder if they intend to change his characterization much...

I can't believe that... the most Western looking character in the series is played by an Asian guy and (one of) the most Asian looking characters is played by a White woman.
 I think Ishikawa is the best casted, which isn't saying much.
