I had the opportunity to go yesterday when it opened. Lots and lots of people. So much amazing stuff in there, too. I knew it'd be both Monogatari and Madoka-centric, but I kind of hoped for their other works to have some spotlight as well, but outside of some character designs and some opening animation sequences there wasn't much.

The final hall had all of endcard artworks featured in the shows, though. It was incredible to look at them all together, from Arakawa's to Zetsubou-sensei's, going through Hidamari Sketch, Maria Holic and Pani Poni Dash.

All in all, it was definitely well-worth the price. Also snatched the exhibition's book at the gift shop, though I'm saddened the new straps were sold-out by the time I got there.

Every time I see something on this, my heart leaps a tad as I hope it'll say something like, "Madogatari Event Merchandise goes Global!". I know that's extremely unlikely, and probably for the best. But man, I would love to get my hands on more of that merchandise without having to go through proxies, or overpay at a convention like I've done so far.
