I thought the same thing at first, but going by the art style of the manga. I couldn't get over how weirdly the feet were drawn. The anime feet here look normal enough.

I still want to know why the MC has an inflatable donut cushion around his abs. That's so unnatural and it gives me the heebie jeebies.

His father has a devil on his back's muscles, so it's a "thing" of this show. Razz
Still, body builders have those kind of muscles, though.

Oh I am excited for this Very Happy Grappler Baki is one of my favorite martial arts manga series of all time, Itagaki is just amazing with his artwork. And it's cool to see the references to real life fighters in the world of Baki also.

What an excellent tease.

Would love to see Ogre walk through lucite animated, Baki fight with Biscuit Olivia or any of the new Baki series in this style.

Looks like they finally got closer to the manga artwork. Doppo Orochi is my fave.
