It's not available in the US. It's only available on the U.K. Amazon site. The link goes to the Import DVD of live action film.

I've asked Amazon Video and they literally told me they know nothing about this series. And when I called Amazon Prime they told me if it's not up on their site they don't have the license. Not saying this information is true just relating what Amazon is telling me.

That's why it was marked as a 'Britain' story (the Union Jack flag).

Yes I did see that after I posted but it wouldn't let me delete my post. I came to the link through Twitter where this wasn't clear at first.

Surprised it's UK only, I thought Amazon had the worldwide license.

Still, makes a nice change when we get something the US doesn't. Usually it's the other way round.
Hopefully someone at Amazon is being vacuous and you guys will get it soon, it's a damn good series and exactly the sort of thing Noitamina should be doing. Just a shame a lot of people aren't going to get to see it because it's on Amazon Prime.

I am so incredibly upset at Amazon! I'm glad they're airing the show in Great Britain, but they took the initiative to strike an exclusive deal with Noitamina, and now it seems like they forgot all about it in the North American market. Not. Cool. Guys.

OK, I just contacted Amazon Prime Instant Video Customer Service directly, and they told me that there is no official record of a deal between Amazon and Fuji TV, and that it is solely up to the content providers as to where to make shows available. So they are denying the deal, and putting the blame of the show's limited availability on Fuji TV.

I believe that the Amazon Prime Video service over here is organisationally separate to its American equivalent. It is the continuation of the domestic 'LoveFilm' company as opposed to something originating from the US. For all we know, there may be a certain degree of independence between this entity and anything overseas when it comes to licensing.

The mystery is the widely reported deal btw Amazon & Fuji TV. Amazon is denying that the deal was ever "officially confirmed," but if it didn't exist, companies such as Crunchyroll would pursue the streaming rights. The idea that Fuji TV would choose to only make their show available in the UK & Germany doesn't make any sense.

My "conspiracy theory," is that Amazon does have exclusivity for streaming Noitamina shows outside Japan. They were really excited about action-packed, mainstream-appealing Kabaneri, underwhelmed with super-niche Battery, and simply decided not to bother with potentially even more niche Fune wo Amu/The Great Passage. Hopefully, if enough fans reach out, they'll at least let us know why they're not streaming it, or just start streaming it late.
