I'm shocked we're seeing any of the SEGA cast outside Sonic. I mean, Big Shocked!?

I don't see anything wrong with this. In fact,Sonic might be a pretty good addition to Lego. He's already a video game character,so he might fit in there very well. Very well, indeed.

A bit surprised that Big the Cat is back from his retirement. I haven't seen him in any new Sonic title in years.

Supposedly, Steve Lycett, the director of the SEGA Superstars series, really likes him and is the reason he's even in Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing at all.

I could've sworn there was a statement from SEGA that Big the Cat was officially retired as a character though. Does that not count in side games? Do they mean he's retired in that he won't be an important character ever again? Or can characters be brought out of retirement?
