Well, they've got my support. I love the work they've done in getting other Osamu Tezuka works out there, and I've really been wanting the Crater for a few years now, so now is as good a time as any.

What sort of discount on us poor dumb suckers from that fake Crater campaign?

I'm guessing a paltry $5 off.

Yeah, I know they don't really have any obligation to offer any sort of compensation to us, I'm just spiteful to the end.

It was a little more but not much problem being they will offer that discount to anyone backing the project ... The price will only go up in retail later on ...
What Tezuka productions could still have worked out is offer some free goodies for the actual backers of Kunsai instead but it seems this is the best thing they could do Sad
You have to understand that DMP and Tezuka pro can't do anything it's Kickstater and amazon that should lynch this Andrew Nevo guy but they don't care they got the money long ago.

Still i'm happy this is getting resolved if only i was one of those international backers that dropped out after the shipping cost where raised a lot at the end but it's Tezuka so no way i would have canceled it ...

I backed the original Creator Kickstarter with the Kansai Club. It wasn't so much as never released and the owner of the company took the money and ran. I don't care if they offer us anything special. It was years ago. I got burned oh well at least it's finally coming out.

I feel kinda burnt out on Tezuka kickstarters, to be honest. Call me when they offer Jungle Emperor.

Well, the Kickstarter's up, and three more Tezuka books to add to my collection are good by me.

I'm glad with stuff like Under the Air, The Crater, Clockwork Apple, and Storm Fairy that we're getting more of Tezuka's anthology collections. The man can tell a good short story, and a set of them is always good by me.

I know it ain't fun, but at least be glad the issue's being addressed at all. Besides, if it makes you feel better, the people at Tezuka Pro don't enjoy having to put their reps on the line like this, either. Anyway, it's currently at $19,500+.

From a business standpoint, they should do e-book versions. With this, they can get the awards quicker and save money from printing.

That would suck ... The only reason i'm willing to go higher to get more products is cause it supports the project itself so i can get the actual books in print (also most of this rare Tezuka godies i have all seen on ebay etc at some point so i could just get them from there) i don't care for digital only as a last resort !!!
Besides they are perfectly okay with releasing his manga digital on e-manga without a kickstarter cause it doesn't requite much money SO HELLZ NO !!!
