Wow, from Sixth Sense to IGPX? It used to be a decade before former child actors got stuck with bit roles.

When asked about Comic Party Revolution, Kleckner said that he couldn’t yet comment on it.

I vaguely recall a comment made on a previous convention about CPR being picked up by another party (no pun intended) than TRSI. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see TRSI release it with all the obvious love and care they put in the R1 version of the original series.

Synch-Point is also planning to release a “FLCL Ultimate Edition Boxed Set” in the relatively near future. The boxed set will include all three DVDs, re-mastered and re-authored, with new extras. The full list of features is still being finalized and is not available at this time.

Wait, what? Re-mastered? The FLCL DVDs are some of the most flawless anime discs of our time...

Its about damn time they do something with FLCL. I was wondering what was going on with FLCL as it tends to be out of stock everywhere.

Darn I wish I could have gone. But it was impossible for my location. The opening ceremony must've been interesting. You've got guests trying to conquer the world among other intentions. "Kazue Yamamoto said that it was her first experience in front of such a large crowd and that she was looking forward to seeing some real, live bishounen over the weekend so that she could use them as references for her work." Anime smile + sweatdrop
I really want to see Fantasitic Children though, plus the ending theme is done by Origa. I'm wondering how much the FLCL DVD set will cost, since it's only two episodes per disk.

I didn't even know that Newtype USA serialized manga.

The boxset will be cheaper of course, probably $50-75 and yes NewType USA serializes manga, every issue has a chapter of something in it, usually lasting one volume of a manga (One of them being Chrono Crusade)

I'm going to be mighty angry if Girlfriend of Steel doesn't show up outside of ADV's overpriced propaganda magazine.

Personally I hope the new FLCL is $50 MSRP, since then I'll be able to find it for $30 online Very Happy

Yukikaze volume 2, which will contain OVA episodes 3 and 4 will be released this fall as well. The last volume of the series will contain Episode 5

Bout damn time they release the rest of the OVA. Can't believe it's taken about a year and a half for volume 2 to come out.

While it has taken forever to be released, you should realize that episode 5 doesn't come out until later this year, if they had waited to put episode 5 on the 2nd DVD we'd be waiting even longer for it.

I'm pretty pleased about the news regarding Princess Tutu and Kaleido Star. If ADV sticks to what they've said here about the releases starting back up, then I'm happy :) Disappointed about the delay in the first place, but it seems there were adequate reasons (Tutu being help up by packaging mishap, and getting KStar season 2 when it can benefit from a thinpaked collection of the first season)

*sigh* I go away to a wedding and a con breaks out. Why must I miss everything?

2x2=Shinobuden is licensed?! OMFG THAT IS TEH GREATEST THING EVAR!!!1! Representative Person is right. Watch that show when it comes out. It's hella funny.

Looks like Broccoli is going to get some of my hard-earned buckos, but not for that FLCL swag. And you thought the life-sized Hikari was spooky...

Bandai gets much w00t for what they've done. It seemed like it was only a matter of time before Mark Hamill did anime. After all, work is work.

Holy fudge, Shinobuden is an awesome get.

Oh yeah. ANN's FUNi panel report leads to a dead link.
