I was really tempted by the Illustration Chronicle until I looked on Amazon.co.jp and saw how tiny it is. At 68 tankoubon-sized pages, there isn't going to be much room for anything other than cover art and character portraits (I was hoping for something more along the lines of Viz's The Art of Magic artbooks). I guess you can't ask for much considering it costs 734 yen, but needless to say I'm a bit underwhelmed.

I love the shiny texture of the Sealing Wand.  The Clow Cards also have a neat design.

I have the original release of the book, that comes with the 52-card set + the Nameless card. I would love to have the Hope card, though, considering I've cosplayed her.

50$ per set of card! Holy moly, that's nuts!
When tactics ogre on the PSP came out the pre order bonus for the game was a set of carrot card, and the game was probably a tiny bit cheaper.

Sadly, the Japanese specifically mentions that the hope card is not included. Which is a shame.

Oh, snap. I was wondering about the tankobon. I was also wondering what it would come with. . . I want it so bad! I hope it isn't too late to snag it with all of the bonus stuff. ;u;
They got me on the merch too. I am ready to shell out. Spring is going to be a tough season, between the merch and the Switch coming.
This is a really exciting time for CCS fans though. ^u^
edit : Hmm . . . actually, didn't they announce a Dark and Light Clow set previously? Is this the same, or a whole new one? (Including all of the voice activated stuff.)

I remembered I was it says Hope Card is included with the star wand and Nothing Card is included with the Sakura Book so I sent Takara Tomy already the letter and they have the Clow Card version of Nothing Card and Hope Card also Nameless Sakura Card and the 2nd Movie edition Pouch. I like my real CCS collection for my birthday.
