If done right, it'll probably be more enjoyable for casual viewers who originally dropped it. And, if we're keeping with tradition, a trailer should drop... tomorrow. That'll probably be when we get an exact date.

Great news! man Code Geass and now AoT the shows I love are coming back. for the people who are keeping up with the manga, do you expect the second season to be better than the first based on the story material it will adapt?

I think season 2 will be an endurance test when compared to season 1 as the politics of their world gain emphasis. There will be lots of flash-backing and info-dumps to look forward to if it follows the manga.

Woo! Though I'll probably wait for the home release so I don't have to see black bars, if I can wait that long =/

Fudge yeah! The promise of more of the world's politics does not dissuade me in the least, in fact it does the opposite. It's great to finally get this continuation after nearly exactly 4 years in April.

I guessing for a lot of people it won't be. Just saying it now; not a lot of Titan action.

I really hope this is 2 cour. Or split cour would maybe be even better. As long as we get more than 12-13 episodes after waiting this long.

If we're going by chapters, not necessarily. The first 12 or 13 episodes adapted will have the most Titan kerfuffling in the history of the series. It isn't coined the 'Clash of the Titans' arc by fans for no reason. The remaining episodes will be the much talked about political arc, yes, culminating in an estimated 25 episodes total.
