For some reason, I read the title as "Death Note to the Parallel World Rhapsody." Anyway, another get sent to another world anime and it has a harem in it. My Yoshitsugu senses are tingling. I'm interested.

And another light novel adaptation featuring the main character transported into another world, all about escapism, and of course, the 29-year-old MC looks like a pre-teen. Such mastery of literature. Laughing

Seems like almost anything Yen Press licenses these days is getting an anime.

I excited and love to see the character design in anime, although I was spoiled by fan translated of this Light novel. spoiler[By the way, the name of MC is Satou and later has many names]

I wonder if GunOta (Gun-ota ga Mahou Sekai ni Tensei Shitara, Gendai Heiki de Guntai Harem o Tsukucchaimashita!?) will gets anime.

What kind of Death March was he on in the real world? Last Death March I heard of was during World War II.

Anyone who read this can tell me if it´s worth adapting? It would be better Rising of the shield hero

oh dear god, not this one...

Death march is a phrase they use to describe a boss forcing employees to work on a project they have no hope of completing.

If you ask me, Rising of the Shield Hero is much better than this one, especially with the edits made to the light novel version from the web novel, even more so as both of the stories progress. Death march is a sort of slice of life transfer story. It doesn't really have any direction most of the time and is mostly about him wandering around and doing whatever and being so much superior to everyone and everything that there isn't any conflict in the story. These are things which a lot of people think is good after the amount of hetare protagonists we've gotten over the years in more mainstream anime...but you'll learn eventually that this is just as bad for the same core reasons. Both are just stories about shallow projections of the author getting and doing whatever they want, regardless of if they think what they are projecting of themselves is positive or negative.

nope, I was just going to post that this will easily be the worse isekai work that has gotten an anime; it's like, the worse tropes of the genre are present and in th forefront in this one; }it ahs an op mc for no reason, all the battles are effortless and uninteresting and he starts getting a harem because reasons. it migth improve later, but as far as I ahve read is by far the worse, at least gunota has the military fetish and some nice original ideas keeping it afloat, this one is just, well horrible.

Oh is is going to be fun 4chan got a 500 post thread when this news broke and other than the Loli Harem they didn't seem to keen on it I myself have not read novels but I did pre-order the first two novels so I have no idea what is going to happen. Could be entertaining but it could also be the next Hundred so I'll see.

it will be a disaster...I'd rather not just write it off like that, especially since that will make people want to defend even it's bad points...but I think it will be bad. I was just thinking today that they actually do pick good transfer novels more often then not, since Konosuba, Grimgar, and Log Horizon were chosen...keep in mind, the adaption for Grimgar wasn't to good and they cut a very strong introduction in the original in favor of a pointless anime original one that explained nothing...but they still make good choices for adaptions generally...

....I no longer believe this....

I'd wondered why Yen Press had licensed this isekai title, maybe they had advanced notice of this announcement. I admit I am reading it, but it's...quite generic, so far. Still waiting for Yen Press to license "Kumo Desu Ga, Nani Ka?", which is one of the better isekai works (either the novel or the manga) I've seen.

I tried reading the manga for this but I couldn't really get into it. It didn't satisfy my entertaining story urges, genuinely good story urges, or even my harem powertrip story urges.

It's just sort of there, and not particularly good at anything. I'll probably skip it unless the season's really slow.

well, there's always the cahcne that they go VERY anime original and make something good with the premise; I mean having a sure kill skill that can only be used 3 times and having the mc be an adult are what made me get into reading it; too bad it was dissapointing as F.
