I like that Nintendo is getting their PR shit out there, but the fact that it's all via Jimmy Fallon is creating cognitive dissonance for me Confused

Well it's the demographic they are aiming for with the Switch, I suppose there isn't much they can do until the big reveal in January. This probably the best they can do to hype people up for that, you can still see how carful they are trying to handle the switch in Public. After they I could see them dong a touring the Switch like this on all the talk shows to buzz up the hype to the max.

Better Fallon who knows what he's talking about than getting O'Brien to shit all over your product for the entire segment.

Fallon is so flipping annoying. Can't tell if he's drunk or on drugs during these segments.

I watched a little bit of this on TV before I went to bed last night. Hopefully, the Switch will be an awesome system!

Conan O'Brien is aimed for comedy in those segments, and come on a lot of what he says is fair from an outsider's perspective. I mean, I'm enjoying FF XV so far but some of the things he points out is on point.

Eventhough his "pointing things out" isn't the point of his "Clueless Gamer" segment(s).

Fallon is great, he's much more positive and enthusiastic. The viewership, plus Fallon's personal interest, and the age demographics of a large portion of the viewers make The Tonight Show a good marketing opportunity.

While Conan is funny, it's more 50/50 for him. A lot of the times it's mean humor. Plus his overall persona of hating anything video game related makes him un-pleasurable to watch in those segments.

I gotta tell ya. I loved those videos. Seeing Jimmy Fallon just enjoying himself playing video games and having Mr. Miyamoto in the audience must have been difficult but he pulled it off like a champ. I also loved seeing him playing the Super Mario Bros. theme song with Jimmy's band and Jimmy doing something silly which is pretty good. I loved both these videos and I hope there are more coming.
