YESSS! I thought I was going to have to drive an hour to Seattle to see the movie but they are playing it in my local movie theater. SO EXCITED!

A good amount of theaters and 3 trailers made already. Looks like FUNi is really banking on this one doing well. If that doesn't prove to the naysayers that OP is doing just fine in America, I dunno what else will.

Dub is looking on point, too. Now that's entertainment!

Funimation did not LIST the theaters that will be showing the movie. They've added that god awful search-map for it to the movie's page and it still doesn't work half of the time. For heaven's sake I searched for Montgomery, AL and the only theater it showed was on in California! You can't even type in your city and it show the nearest location, you have to type in the name of a city you think it might be in and have it try from there. Would it kill them to just put up an actual list for once, so people not in the immediate proximity of large cities can spend a minute searching down a list instead of 15 minutes trying the name of every large city in the state? I don't mind driving hours to see the movie, I did it for Evangelion 3.0, Short Peace, and a list of others, but spending more than a couple of minutes to just find out where it's being shown is ridiculous.

Really?

Wow, starts the day after the dubbed showings of Mononoke in January, and Sailor Moon might be around the same timeframe. There have been an abundance of theatrical anime screenings this year, and that seems to be continuing into next year.

Weird ya I just tried it out for Montgomery and it goes super weird. It gives you a CA theater but the map still shows Alabama if you zoom out. I live in Washington and it worked fine for me.

Just search by ZIP Code it works without any problems, I'd say teh map is much easier than scrolling own a list looking for something relatively close to me.

YEEEEEES! FUNi added a couple of Austin theaters. I'll be able to catch the movie after all. Very Happy

Really excited to see my first ever anime movie in theater. Going to be seeing quite a few thanks to all the premieres planned for January!

The problem still stands that I have to search each large population center individually instead of just typing in my zip code and receiving the nearby results. If I'm not close, it won't give me anything. I remember looking for showings of From Up on Poppy Hill when that was in theaters. A matter of seconds of scrolling down the list to find my state, and only a few more seconds to find a city and theater. Even a map with ALL of the showings marked would be preferable to this cat-and-mouse. Exponentially more time just to find out about showings in Columbus (GA), Mobile, Pensacola (FL), Birmingham, Montgomery (listed as California), and Huntsville individually than if a simple text list had just been provided.

I know I'm probably over-reacting, but damn.
