I remember reading the manga not so long ago. Pretty interested in the story and premise has a lot of promise. I look forward to this.

It's not mystery series magazine, it's shoujo manga magazine. And well, it's very old.

The premise isn't half bad, and it's not everyday I see a manga series take place in a desert. I'll keep an eye on this.

It IS a mystery series magazine, a shoujo mystery magazine. And what do you mean by"old"? What has the age of the magazine got to do with its content? Shounen Jump is one of the oldest magazines, it was funded in the 60s and series are still being published in it..

Hey cool! I started reading this manga. It's lots of fun and the story is interesting so far.
spoiler[Just don't get attached to any of the characters and you'll be fine.]

I read the first volume and the pacing is shot: you could have comfortably cut the whole thing down to a 40p chapter, and it's not like we got character development or worldbuilding to fill the balance.

Not a critical flaw, but it meant I had little desire to read more. Maybe the anime will edit it up.

Sounds like a promising premise. I'll keep an eye out for sure; the cover art is gorgeous!

Also, I believe there's a small typo in this paragraph--the main character's name:
Quote:
One day, a ruined ship suddenly drifts ashore, and Chakura meets a girl inside.
