Woah.
Well that's horrifying. Sucks even worse that he's Korean married to a Japanese lady. Hopefully this doesn't lead to an uptick in hate crimes or something. I wonder what the whole story is, or maybe I shouldn't. I'm just really sad for everyone involved right now. And I really hope it has no effect on any of the stuff he has worked on. Japan has a problem with that sort of reaction.

As shocking as the news is, let's not go accusing people until the investigations are over. They are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Also news these days can be made up, so treat them with caution.

IIRC, Japan's legal system is "guilty until proven innocent".

"but an autopsy allegedly found signs of strangulation on Kanako's neck"
FWIW, I could see how a semi-botched suicide could result in that and at 2:45 AM maybe all four kids were asleep at the time and he was working late or something. Either way, not good; something clearly went very, very wrong in the family, and it's probably not going to be easy for the survivors.

Domestic violence is not uncommon. Sad to say, even passing off a murder for a suicide is not unheard of either.
If the signs of strangulation are quite prominent, he will be going down for murder. The forensic experts are quite knowledgeable about what strangulation does.
No one is going to commit retaliation hate crimes because of a domestic murder. Even unapologetic racists would see the futility of such an act.

Pretty sure this is the same guy who got fired for hitting Isayama and constantly berating him, and also the guy who apparently threw up and cried for an hour when Isayama told him he was going to kill Sasha and kept picking fights with fujos on Twitter.
[Edit]: added spoiler tags. Errinundra.

Those poor kids. I can't think of a worse scenario than their father arrested for their mother's murder. My thoughts are with them.

That's some strange behavior, throwing up and crying doesn't seem like the normal actions of someone who's fired, it's usually depression or anger from the start. Also, the police need to look harder for any wires, ropes, and any other suicide instruments in the home because it doesn't seem like a murder to me but a tragic suicide.

you can't strangle yourself, there is a point when you pass out and your hands will let go and you will be able to breathe again, and if she used a tool, well , the police should have found it right away.

Lets just wait for the result, they need to scan for foot and hand prints to prove that the investigation's right or else they're just plain accusing him because he's u know... Not to be racist. They need to be careful since he's Korean because we know Japan's never been bff with Korea not with the comfort women issue.
