I'm honestly just surprised and impressed it went so long without ending up with an irregular schedule. Wonder if it a new anime entry like the one being teased for the past year or so will rejuvenate it.

Didn't Puella Magi Homura Tamura already end with vol.3 (Nov.2016)?

Yes, I believe so. Mahō Shōjo Madoka Magica: Majū-hen (Wraith Arc) ended last year as well. But I believe Sadness Prayer is still ongoing, and the article doesn't say that is shifting magazines, so I guess there will only be new chapters of that whenever there is a new issue of the magazine.
