$10 says that Ichimatsu's pad will sell out in a minute. That face, and that he's one of the more popular ones, tells me that fujoshi are frothing at the mouth. |

I love this series, and I'm always all for making whatever sells to keep the franchises going and the fans happy, but the kind of stuff people will buy (and for what prices, it's never cheap) will never cease to impress me.
But then again, even the few figurines and keychains I have are already pretty ridiculous to "normal" people, so who am I to judge what people want to put their money into. Good for them that companies are actually making these products.

Doesn't have to a fujoshi, other kinds of female otaku(for example the straight ones who ship themselves with characters or the otome crow and so on so forth.) could be into it too, it's common sense 101. Personally, I find this to be really creepy. My poor babies doesn't deserve this. |

Er, your poor babies would do worse (had done worse) for money or just for the lulz...  The "Whose dick is that?" quiz comes to mind...
I'm a big fan (of the anime, I didn't like most secondary materials) and this is hilarious. If girl T&A mousepads are a thing this deserves to be a thing, too.
Karamatsu is my favorite and I'm shocked and appalled that barely any merchandise depicts him at his coolest.

Gotta agree with that. This kind of random crap is what's so good about the show.
My favorite is Osomatsu, but Karamatsu is definitely one of the most amusing characters I know. Whenever there's new merchandise or new image sets in the games I always look to forward to seeing what they'll do to him. Rarely ever disappoints, but sometimes indeed it could use a lot more shine. |

Eh, I didn't mind the crude jokes in the anime like quiz thing and the 'masturbation' scene. Gintama also has jokes like that. But if all of sudden if mouse pads came out with Gintama characters like Gintoki, Hijikata sticking out there asses I would be disturbed. I'm not fan of how they are depicted the boys in these mouse pads, I'm don't want to see my boys sexualized, and I've every right to express that as a fan of the franchise. As for the fans like you who find this to be hilarious and a creative thing, then I say go ahead and enjoy it. And about the T&A mouse pads, two wrongs don't make a right. |

I'm curious. If you don't mind asking, what do you find of the hug pillows and all? Like in these mousepads, the pictures don't really show a sexy pose or expression, but they're still items that lots of if not most people will probably buy with that in mind, and were probably made with that public in mind too. |

But "your boys" are not "sexualized", they're fully sexual beings (as far as 2D fictional characters go, anyway). Like, half of the show is about how thirsty they are. They have porn mags. They apparently have kinks and fetishes. Osomatsu asked Nyaa-chan (in great detail) to have sex with Choromatsu. They popped a giant, collective boner in the finale seeing Totoko naked, and were motivated by the possibility of having sex with her. In context of the show they'd be the first ones supporting these mousepads if they thought there was female attention to be had from them. (They'd probably make them better, too. Justice for Karamatsu's shiny pants!) Also, to be honest I don't see what's "sexualized" about this, they're more funny than actually sexy. If they wanted to make these sexy they could have found ways to do it (it's not like it's never been done before...), but the way the mousepads are they're more tongue-in-cheek jokes than anything. |
