I'm glad that we're getting more light novel adaptations by female authors that appeals to the female audience. This year alone we got Kabukibu! by Yuuri Eda and Clamp, Vatican Miracle Examiner by the awesome ladies Rin Fujiki and Thores Shibamoto and this by Labu Asai and Terui.

I haven't read this particle work but I did read the shoujo manga adaption of it a decade ago when I used to buy Ace Beans(I miss this magazine so much..), I thought it was meh but I've heard good things about the LNs. I'm a big fan of Terui/Miyagi too, her art is gorgeous.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to the anime.

So it's about 2 hunters fighting with math and science? Cannot wait to see how bad this show will turn out (I could never trust light novels for decent literature). Laughing

I've heard the grimdarkness of the source novel is its greatest draw, especially when its touted as starting the trend of grimdark stories. Supposedly some Korean fantranslators quit handling it because of its disturbing depressiveness.
