You do mean Volume 2, as it states in the header, correct? Wink

Yep, I'm sure that's what they mean.

The Anime Companion 2 is the title of the second volume, which is not a second edition.

And in September I hope to be signing copies at the Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco. About an hour ago I was there discussing this with their staff. Keep checking the Anime News Network for the press release when it comes out.

Oh, fun. My parents bought me the first one when I first got into anime. It's not normally the kinda thing I'd get, but I'll definitely check out this second one. Sounds nice to have an updated one~

This time the book also includes kanji and kana.

It also has a great many more entries dealing with history. When I wrote volume 1 there were very few anime and manga available in English set before WWII. I, of course, have also attempted to identify even more foods this time.

When I have confirmation that the book is hitting stores I will replace the present web supplement with a new version.

The supplement is at:

I'd just like to say that I found your first volume incredibly informative and I am looking forward to seeing this second volume.

Thank you! Very Happy

Thanks.

I'm still revising the supplement, up into S in adding the kanji/kana and page numbers for the new entries. I'm copying and pasting from the PDF my editor got me.

Then I have to display everything (I'll probably print it too) and check formating and style.

Hopefully it will be up by the middle of next week, if the book is sighted then.

I have confirmation the book actually exists.

Yesterday there was a box in my mail with a copy.

Expect it in stores any day now.
