Will be curious to see what his second role is. He looks physically perfect for being Vector.

Love the casting for this movie. Damn! Even Jennifer Connelly is in this movie. They are putting more talent and money on these adaptations now! GREAT!

So they can add another "Oscar Winner" tag to the marketing. At the very least the film has a great cast.

This cast is legitimately impressive, so far so good. The bigger surprise is that a few of them look the part too. I don´t think though that Ali was most deserving of his supporting actor Oscar though.

Somehow, I'm not convinced that him winning best supporting actor is for the right reasons. I wouldn't be surprised if it was just just a facade to make the Academy Awards look progressive, accepting, and politically correct considering the current political situation and social pressures in the USA. And now this recognition of winning an Oscar is the PC bandwagon everyone in the film industry would want to get on if it helps sell tickets.

So all the white people who won awards last night all earned their win fair and square, but when the black Muslim dude wins, he didn't really earn it, it's just political correctness at work?

Okay, so all the white people who won awards, you'd also agree that it's not impossible that they won due to white supremacy and racism, right?

I'm curious to know how this film is going to present itself. Good to see him as a cast member.

The man did astounding work with very little screen time. That deserves recognition. And it's not like its just the Academy Awards that have taken notice of how well he did in Moonlight.

I can't believe they actually finished Battle Angel Alita! It's been in production hell for so long I didn't think they'd ever film it. Guess (Hollywood) miracles can happen. What's next? Akira? Cowboy Bebop?
