| I noticed in the Encyclopedia entry for DearS that it listed Kari Wahlgren as the English voice for Ren, where it clearly states in the closing credits that Mia Bradly is the English voice. I assume that this is a mistake (unless Mia Bradly is one of Ms. Wahlgren's many aliases).
EDIT: I sent an error report about the above matter. EDIT2: The error has been fixed. Mia Bradly is now correctly listed as the English VA for Ren. Thanks!  Last edited by biliano on Sat Aug 13, 2005 7:27 am; edited 2 times in total |

I did find the review though, and I'm a little disappointed Mr. Santos did not feel the Happy Cosmos.  |

Actually, I discovered this review by accident. Earlier today (August 11), there was a thread in the Bugs & Technical section that stated the the User Ratings color bars were missing for those that use MSIE and Firefox. Since I use IE, I wanted to check to see if it was affecting my system (I was at work at the time). I chose the DearS Encyclopedia page out of a whim, and when I discovered the missing User Ratings bars to be true (they now since returned), I scrolled down the remainder of the page and noticed that there was a review of Volume 1 of DearS, even though that it won't be seen on the sidebar until August 13. At that time, I read the review and noticed the mistake about the English voice cast for Ren in the DearS entry in the Encyclopedia. This isn't the first time that I started a review thread before the review became available to the public. I started a review thread for Ghost in the Shell:SAC Volume 4 when I saw it in the "Of Interest" section of My Anime earlier this year. So do I.  I though there wasn't anything wrong with the character designs - they were faithful to the manga conterpart. Also, I thought the opening and closing songs were very catchy. I'm now starting to love UNDER17's music (first "Kujibiki Unbalance", then "Kagayaki Cyalume", and now "Love Slave"). |

Tastes differ. I don't find the DearS characters cute either, mainly because they are drawn in a style I have never considered cute or attractive.
Oh DearS, I'll have to watch your recommendations in the future. Just so I know what to avoid.  |
