I saw The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and hoped it was a new anime announced but was then quickly disappointed.

... Although is that a new illustration on the right? I don't recall seeing that picture in the original novels.

I can imagine something happening on April Fools Day, since that is when this textbook(?) is coming out. Another teaser that will probably be a let down... Sad

Never would've thought Haruhi would be the type of character to teach English to youngsters, given her hyper personality. But I think it's a nice endeavor to want to help children learn.

I have to wonder if this, in part, might have been inspired by Aya Hirano learning English? Because I could see them expanding this into audio lessons with Aya reprising her role.
