Tomita sounds like a patent troll. Assuming he had a patent at all (but I'm guessing he did), you'd think he would've created something to sell during those years he had it. It's like that Australian company that sued Buffalo Technologies over the Wii's wi-fi dongle (except they won, which is why those dongles no longer exist).
Nintendo's unconventional hardware makes the company a magnet for lawsuits like these. They need very good lawyers to deal with them. |

Now if only people would stop infringing on copyrights they wouldn't need to send C&D letters to people making bootleg Pokemon games. |
