Hmm I'm starting to look forward to this, but thus far all live action anime adaptions of anime have been garbage so my pessimistic side is just screaming "Fool~!".

ALL live-action anime adaptations? So I take it you're not impressed by the Rurouni Kenshin trilogy? Dang.

silly, rurounni knehisn is nto an aniem adaptation but a manga one; there are a lot of good live action adaptations based on mangas, but yeah, for anime original properties I can't think of a single good one.

Heh, I'm getting Blade Runner vibes all around (as it should be, considering that was the visual codifier for cyberpunk). This is going to be interesting, since it means they're basing the visual style around 80's and early 90's depictions of the future.
