For all its capacity for collateral damage, the Z-001 from Roujin Z was perhaps less malignant than the likes of Lucy from Elfen Lied. Indeed, the former's aim was hardly a destructive one: it only intended to take its occupant on a nice trip to the seaside...

I've refused to read One Piece because it's such a long series. That's really as close as I've come to dropping a series because of length.

I left Inuyasha at the 20-something volume since I felt the story was going nowhere. I got so tired with it that still now I don't care how it ended.

I'm just happy to see that Roujin Z hasn't been forgotten! Its satire is dead on, the characters are wonderful (the old man's young, compassionate nurse and the elderly hackers in the hospital ward are particularly memorable), and the animation captures the mood perfectly. I just someone here would re-license it.
