I never expected to say this when I first heard of the show when its first season premiered, but I'm looking forward to this. I wouldn't say it is the best show, even in the male-otaku-oriented magical girl genre, but it is a good one in my opinion.

Hype.
The biggest issue I have with the franchise is that the seasons don't mesh together that well. Not surprising, since you can't set up the next season when you don't know you'll get one (ex season 2 reveals Hibiki was bullied, but there's nothing in season 1 that suggests that). But since the 4th and 5th seasons were announce together there should be better cohesion. |

Now if we could get a US Blu-ray release or Japan can do some sub release that could be imported for the first three seasons.

Strange this wasn't shown at last weeks anime con.
Oh well, looks even better animated then the previous seasons, the quality just keeps getting higher. |

I mean it kinda does technically all we got in season 1 of Hibiki's backstory was the concert in middle school and then time jumped 3 years for high school and by then her dad was gone I believe. Also it seemed like she was bullied because of the concert because she was the only one who survived or one of the few survivors from the scenes we got as reference. Might've been the reason she moved to a boarding school with Miku. |

Seiten Galaxy Cross already has 5D's, ZEXAL and GX references in form of a single song. And unlike AXZ, ZEXAL's X is silent. |
