High School DxD is better than To Love-Ru in many ways. I won't read or watch anymore TLR related.

I'd be shocked if they had ended it there. It's still by far the best selling ecchi-harem manga with nothing even coming close. Sounded more like the mangaka just wanted a break for a bit.

This still isn't what we expected. Sounds like he'll spend years working on another manga before getting back to it.

To Love Ru isn't the best manga in the world, but it'a definitely one of my all time guilty pleasures. I hope he continues it one day. Even if it's not in the immediate future.

TLR is the best non-hentai hentai manga there is Laughing

mark my words...
TLR will go on and on and on as long as no one could meet or exceed its ecchi-ness without getting labeled as R18 in japan Laughing

Oh, thank goodness. I've been growing increasingly worried that it wouldnt actually continue when it should be. (Not a reader of the manga, so I don't know what happened at the end of Darkness. No spoilers please.) This franchise is one that's very close to me, and I hope that, with this news, it'll come back soon and continue for a long time.

I wish they would just make a version where Rito chooses Lala. If they can have a Haruna ending and harem ending, why not a Lala ending?

it was pretty clear darkness would not be the last of TLR. Otherwise I would've been pretty upset since that was one of the most OPEN ending i have read in a while

Yeaaah No.
Honestly after catching up to the latest volume in the light novels I could say To Love ru does a HECK lot better with its ecchi and harem.

DxD only got the story progression nd development

while To Love-Ru -Trouble- Darkness is over, and while any future developments haven't yet been decided, it is "not the final chapter" of To Love-Ru.

I had a feeling it wasn't really over but I hope they figure out soon where to take the story now. We need to see the story get towards the point where Rito faces his destiny that he becomes the King of Deviluke. Even though he's still a high school student, eventually characters need to grow up.

(*Ron Howard's voice* "Rito was growing up").

Artist Kentaro Yabuki also revealed in the volume that he thinks his next work will not be related to To Love-Ru.

Come on Yabuki-san, just get to it already!

Then again, what if Kentaro Yabuki is the one taking a break now while his partner Saki Hasemi is figuring out what to make of the manga's next installment, in terms of story of course.
