This is hilarious, that's what CR and Funimation get for trying to establish a monopoly, this is Sentai's revenge. Sentai got lucky with Amazon.

Oh wow, did Funiroll sleep on their laurels just because they had secured HeroAca and Titan? Sentai's taking a lot of the big titles whilst CR's left with a lot of scraps. Funi didn't even manage to peg that second season of Bahamut, which makes me worried about Uchouten Kazoku getting to Crunchyroll

I don't stream and while it stinks for those who do stream due to the double paywal/low amount of countries with the service I'm just really happy to see Sentai have a partnership. After the Crunchy/Funi deal Sentai for quite some time was left with leftover scraps and questions about long term survival definitely had me worried so I'm glad with this partnership Sentai seems to be more proactive and not just left with the leftover scraps and hopefully leads them to more financial success as they are one of my favorite companies!

this is getting ridiculous . I was pissed with the funi crunchyroll merger but you can't ef over the fans just because you want to get back at them. We don't have control over mergers and partnerships but if u ask me which is harder to acquire the choice is simple sentai chose to fudge over all anime fans by going behind a double pay wall

O well Time to go search for the one piece with luffy

So why should the fans have to suffer? Removed insult. See Rule #1. --willag

I dont see how this is good. We already knew before the crunchy funi partnership that Amazon was getting into the anime game. I just dont think any of us expected them (amazon) to get this many high profile shows in one season. And it sucks for dub fans like me as well as for people who dont to pay through two walls

Are you really expecting a dub from Sentai?

I dont care who gets what anime.. I only care about if a anime gets dubbed or not. And yea Sentai doesnt dub everything. Even its getting a high rate on MAL or here for example.

And did i miss something? Sentai and Amazon have a partnership?

The only other worthy titles to me that remain unlicensed are Virgin Soul, Eccentric Family 2, Re: CREATORS and Natsume 6. If Anime Strike simulcasts two of those, it will have a bunch of strong titles for this season.

And I share others' enthusiasm for Sentai having new life with all these license pickups.

Perhaps Amazon's deep pockets will pay Sentai to increase their dub output.

It amazes me that some people don't understand the Crunchyroll/Funimation partnership was a response to Amazon entering the market in a big way. They knew this was coming, and instead of competing against one another, banded together to remain competitive against Amazon.
