Cowboy Bebop, Wolf's Rain, Escaflwone, Concrete Revolutio, Macross, Jin-Roh, Gunbuster and Gundam. He sounds like the most important Anime producer to ever live.

Very unfortunate for this to happen. I hope his family and friends can get through this. Thank you for having an impact on many lives.

RIP

A giant figure losts. He was behind of a lot of animes I've loved over the years. He'll be missed but his works will keep his memory alive.

A very influential contributor of the anime world gone, never to be seen again. Sad
Rest in peace, Mr. Takanashi-san. Cowboy Bebop: The Movie was an awesome work of art that I enjoyed watching.

An incredible man of his time. Mr. Takanashi, I salute you for what you brought to anime. Thank you, thank you so much for everything you've done. If it weren't for you, there wouldn't have been Escaflowne.

This man worked on a fair amount of great stuff. Also on terrible things like Pilot Candidate, but those are best left forgotten. I hope he's found peace now.
