Well, I've heard all I needed to hear on this and folks are annoyed that they couldn't score a piece [of worthless plastic}. As usually scalpers are gonna scalp. Didn't get one and not going to search for one now.

I may sound like a hipster, but my vintage hardware + flash carts is superior and can probably be purchased for cheaper than this novelty gadget.

Those scalpers are laughing themselves all the way to the bank now that they free to buy what little of the NES Classic units remain and then resell on eBay at stratospheric prices. Sad

At least folks in Japan that have yet to buy the NES Classic are guaranteed another chance.

They said the Famicom Classic was temporarily discontinued, but it doesn't mean the NES Classic was permanently discontinued.

Nintendo has reversed their statements when demand gets high enough. Some of the amiibo that have had many print runs were intended to have just the one at the start, as a recent example.
