and shortly after season 2 finished, hopefully this means a season 3 could happen

Let's hope so. The next big arc is my favourite from the whole manga as of now, it'd be awesome to see it as anime. But one thing is for sure if they do a season 3 it will have to be a 2-cour anime xD |

From the not that good disc sales of Kyoto Arc, the anime does not seem to be that popular in Japan anymore. I also want to see more Blue Exorcist anime, but the prospects for a season 3 do not look promising right now. |

Oh no , this really sucks , if a manga is doing well will that help with the anime's chances? because half the time anime is just promoting manga sales . Either way I really hope season 3 is animated , this my favorite series and id be really depressed to see it die. |
